About this workshop
This beginner-friendly course introduces the art of tie-dye (àdìrẹ) through one of its most popular spiral patterns. The spiral design serves as a foundation for many more complex resist-dyeing techniques. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to create both single and double spiral patterns while exploring the basics of traditional àdìrẹ dyeing. Experienced instructors will guide participants step-by-step throughout the course.
Materials supplied
This subsidized registration fee includes refreshments and all art materials, including one T-shirt and one yard of cotton fabric. Dyes, reagents, and all necessary tools will be provided for use during the workshop. Participants will take home their completed projects at the end of the course. T-shirts are available in sizes S, M, L, and XL.

Open to all adults and children ages 8 and above.
